The problem last night wasn't Barkley. They moved the ball but the red zone offense was terrible.

USC has a bad o-line. Not sure why people hate Barkley, everybody says he is a really good guy.

Barkley's comments about him were accurate, but I still enjoyed seeing Vontaze make him look like a chump.

Sounds like the USC boards over here, "they aren't that talented". Of course not, they only brought in multiple top 5 recruiting classes. Watch those games. They are vastly more talented than the opposition. They have HORRIBLE coaching. They are bigger and stronger and faster than anyone they play by quite a lot. Their O-line isn't the best, but it's workable. That defense just sucks. It's coaching.

If the overly talented team loses because the players aren't able to play to their full potential or held back due to not understanding scheme or just simply unmotivated and not into the game it's on coaching. It's why Fulmer was fired. It falls on the head coach.

I think Kiffin really misses Chaney. I don't think he's going to be at USC very long. The fan base seems irate with the team production and the media takes every opportunity they can to paint him in an even more negative light. Sheer apathy towards the program by fans instead of raw outrage is the only way he's going to be able to coach post-sanctions at USC if this doesn't change dramatically. Personally I love watching those under-talented pac 10 teams stomp a hole in Kiffin's excuse making face and hearing him whine about how it's all on the players.

He's not, but he's still the most talented defender they have. With experience, he starts and never comes off the field. Eventually, recruiting to the star counts fails you and it is roosting now for USC. Same at UF.

I have a hard time agreeing with that. Allen has really impressed me over the years.
