As much as Fulmer's classes didn't make sense in not panning out, it's borderline insane how SC could be so bad on D for 2 years with some of the recruiting classes they have had.

USC's in for a tough few years. Don't they only have 15 available scholarships this recruiting season?

I think they'll get to back count a few from not signing a full class last year and from some of the underclassmen like Malik transferring...I'm not sure exactly but I think they can probably take more like 20 this year and then 15 for the next two

Transfers should not have anything to do with it.

You're right - I got mixed up. They can back-count for guys from their incoming class who never made it in because they got out of their LOIs after the sanctions (such as Seantrel Henderson and Glen Stanley) - but not for players who were already on their roster and transferred out (such as Malik)
