easy there. This was USC's annual egg laying event, which must be getting tiring for USC fans.yes. the speed and talent at the offensive skill positions and the elite offensive coaching in the pac-10 means that virtually every team in the pac-10 has a "fighting chance" against anyone. it's not like in some leagues where over half the teams have virtually no shot of winning against the elite teams. that's not to say it's the hardest conference. certainly not this year. just that there are a lot of pac-10 teams that have the ability to get hot on a given day and beat an elite team. vandy can play the game of it's life and still not beat florida or georgia. why? because they can't score.
They drill the good teams and lose to crap like Stanford and OSU.
I don't buy any of the talent argument. Stanford doesn't have it and OSU didn't have it last night. USC never adjusted to stop the run in the first half and it killed them, along with poor offensive play.
