USC/Oregon St.

will you bring this predictive power to your election night commentary?

I have sworn not to make a single prediction. However, if and when Obama hits 270 I will stand up and rip open my shirt to reveal this

Basically we'd be up by about 3 TD's by now, so there would be no coming back. Jim Beam is good. Keep sipping on the warm milk.

first chink in the armor for me. Until this doozy, I was all about your genius.

I was referring mostly to the stupid penalties and lining a #4 up at quarterback in a situation that is completely wrong for it.

fair enough, we're back on track.

How many minutes you think they'll play in the 3rd?

USC plays primetime all the time on ABC. If they aren't primetime, they are the late afternoon game on ABC. I'm not buying into your theory.

The 3:30 ABC games are always split regionally, and the eastern half of the country almost never gets a Pac 10 game. (Remember USC and Oregon last year? One of the most anticipated games of the year, and nobody east of Denver saw it.) I need to write myself a note to check at the end of the year, as this is a pretty interesting question, but I bet that four or fewer of USC's games this year are widely available on the eastern half of the country. This is a relatively rare opportunity for USC to have the stage to themselves to impress the voters.

I saw USC at least six times last year in the regular season and this is the third game in three games I have witnessed this year. Still not buying your theory.

You sure about that? Because I watched it on FSN here in Knoxville.
