USC players visiting UT in the next few weeks

People this wouldn't hurt recruiting... the players leaving USC would be at least juniors. it might stop us from a JUCO player, but who cares there... this would be like taking a JUCO player minus the academic risk.

Guys and gals, what I think has been missed up until this point is that CDD isn't going to all of a sudden forget his recruiting mantra of taking high character guys. And just because a potential transfer might want to come here, doesn't mean that CDD will allow him to, much less offer him a scholarship if CDD doesn't think he will be the right fit. I truly believe that Dooley will consider chemistry and character first, and then see if any potential USC transfers could help us out in the short term. I am intrigued though to hear if anyone knows when these guys are supposed to be here and how long it might be until we have a definitive answer on whether or not they are coming.

You have to be very careful paying attention to this. Mainly because if you screw up the team chemistry at this point, even if they are better players, you might undermine the leadership of this team and the development of the players we have.

Be very careful what you wish for at this point, because it could also affect the guys we are currently recruiting as well.

Only if the players want it.

What team chemistry are we talking about? We are going to be playing true freshmen and sophomores at key positions! I seriously doubt if they have any yet!

eric posted a pick of nick reviez next to a lake, deep in thought and wrote that Nick really wants it. something to that effect, i guess.

:good!:

BTW, did you watch the braves dismantle the natinals last night? That was the best atmosphere @ turner field that I can remember.

Noone knows who it is that I am aware of. He/she is a recruiting insider on Tony Basilio's website.

Lots of guys on here know who he is, but his name escapes me at the moment (Roy Adams maybe). I don't know much about him except that he's in memphis, has gameday "parties" at his place that former players and other influential people attend, generally considered a slimeball, has been shunned by the University for shady behavior, known for giving players cash handshakes, and I think he may be a lawyer. I apologize if any of that is inaccurate.

he is not X

I read today that Mike Slive is allowing USC seniors to appeal SEC ruling on senior transfers, said he is trying to get the last laugh at Lane.

On Sports Talk? I think the part about Slive was a joke, but players are allowed to appeal the rule.

Speaking of the Braves...did anyone else see the guy behind home plate with the orange shirt and Power T on it tonight?
