Grier is not struggling at all. He's having a good camp. UF didn't get a QB in the 2015 cycle and town would feel that void.

He was initially committed to Bama who's loaded at QB from a numbers standpoint then goes to USC who's got 3-4 guys already on the roster. On the surface, he looks scared of competition.

Ricky is a good kid, he'll do well at Arkansas. Smart move on his part, Cody Kessler is the starter this season, with the #1 QB in 2013 Max Browne to take over in 2016..Max is an absolute stud, the best QB on the team. As for the 2nd QB signed with Ricky, he's been the biggest surprise of camp, big, mobile with a strong arm. Sam outplayed Ricky in our system. Doesn't mean Ricky is not a damn good QB.

QBs are a different breed, and like most of the big name QBs in California, their folks have spent an enormous amount of money on private QB coaches and specialized camps, from a young age. Ricky wants to play, but he got caught in a log jam.
