It was said in another thread that a 5 star RB (USC commit) was going to be looking around at the AA game. I think that is the same article.

the link should let you see the whole article but it basically said that Baxter tried to call the coaches and they wont talk to him. Prater didnt even want to talk about it he was upset. Robert Woods said Carroll has to do what is best for his family but I have to do what is best for me now. They all said Carroll was the major reason they chose USC.

Yes Baxter.

the article says basically that a majority of them are shocked at the news that he may be leaving as well as the OC. Just says they may look around.

Not exactly... The article is getting the responses of some of USC's biggest recruits at the AA game to Pete Carroll possibly going to the Seattle Seahawks. They tend to think that the coaches are going there. Dillion Baxter and Kyle Prater seem to think it is a done deal and it says they are emotional about it...

Gotta feel like a knife in the back. It would be nice to slide in and pick these guys up. We basically work the same offense.

Oh and they did say that they haven't been in contact with the coaches.

Not withstanding the recruits we could get but what about if we could get T. McNair the RB coach.

"hey kyle, it's Lane. Just calling to see what you think about Pete. Crazy, huh? I'll be in touch!"

Baxter and Hillside (Ill.) five-star receiver Kyle Prater are both scheduled to enroll at USC next week. Prater took the news emotionally, but didn't explain his feelings in detail.

"I don't even want to talk about that," Prater told Rivals.com.

Walking away, with a sickened look on his face, Prater had no further comment.

Wow, they were scheduled to enroll next week. If we snag one of these two it will be a signed and done deal within a week. Pretty exciting. Jac is on the same team as both in the AA game. Maybe he has been in their ear while he's got em pinned down at the bottom of the piles in practice.

I doubt carroll leaves, so i dont think much will change with the recruits

Listening to ESPN earlier and it was said this is pretty much a done deal. They heard the same thing from three different sources including someone at USC...

FWIW

I really want Baxter his highlights are pretty good. I think with ambles, milton, meline and tompkins this class will be set at WR but i certainly wouldnt pass up prater at this point

Funny. I don't recall a thread of USC paraphernalia on him in the pregame yesterday.
