I wish someone would hook Urbie up to a lie detector and ask him if he's really coming back. I saw a headline earlier today saying he expects to begin involvement with team activities again before NSD, or something like that - it was really obvious that he's just trying to salvage their recruiting class. What a slimeball. It would be the equivalent of Carroll denying any interest in the Seahawks job and then bolting the day after NSD.

Wasn't UT in Prater's final three just before he chose?

I don't think so...think it was OK and Illini as the other two....Kippy Brown could change things but with him enrolling soon he may opt to stay home at Illinois....who knows though he does know Zach Fulton really well

Powell is def a gator now if he wasn't already

Robert Woods could get interesting but prob not too much for us

I think USC has to move quick on a replacement before all heck breaks loose...if they were smart they bring back Sark and Holt

Scroggins, Scroggins, Scroggins. He picks USC over UT then follows it up with a bad performance in the UA game. Somebody needs a mulligan.

Somebody this week in Volnation sat next to Jim Chaney on a flight heading to Illinois by way of St. Louis. Wonder if he was heading to talk to Prater's family?

If so, it sounds like the CEO, CLK, CMK visit to San Antonio make have been a closing type of visit.

Yes, Prater was big on us before committing and we were in his final 3 due to CLK. Google it and you'll still find the old story. Now question is, if Carroll does leave do they go after CLK? I don't think he'd go due to investigation going on over there but if offered ....?

I just could not see him moving his family again this soon. I don't believe he is the mercenary many make him out to be. I could be wrong. Not like I need to say it.

No we were not in his top list of schools. In an interview when he was asked about UT he even said he was not considering us anymore.
If he decommits it will be between Oklahoma and Illinois and maybe ND.

I can place more links here of him stating we're in his top 5 if you'd like. You can keep saying we're not but I can keep adding more links with his own words that say otherwise. How many links do you want?
