USC/Texas Game thread

Still not over. . . 1 out route and they'll be in FG range.

Can't believe they burned that last timeout.

ABC just can't get over it . . . They are interviewing Pete Carroll????

USCrewed.

Not to take a THING away from Texas and Vince Young. Wow.

Congrats to Mack Brown, a Cookeville, Tennessee boy

Now they're interviewing Matt Lineart????

Can they not find a Longhorn anywhere on the field?

Unbelievable! Watching the Texas fans sing 'The Eyes of Texas are Upon You' reminds me of UT fans singing 'Rocky Top" after the '98 Fiesta.

No crap... Keith Jackson's stiffy with USC made me almost happy they lost. He constantly took little potshots at Texas all night.

Tomorrow SportsCenter will lead off with a 20 minute segment on how the officials robbed USC of their three-peat.

The worst call of the night was agasint Texas when they clearly intercepted Lineart for the 2nd time and the refs wouldn't give it to them. You can say the missed call on Young when he lateralled for the TD was the worst play but after seeing what he just did there is not way you can state with any credibility that Texas would not have gotten that touchdown anyway.

You've got to be kidding me.

They did blow the call on Vince Young's TD, but they also blew one on a Texas INT that they ruled incomplete that led to points for USC. They evened out.

But you can say Texas got a TD on that BS, non-replayed call. You can if and but everything else, but that WAS a TD play.

Like I just said. Texas got screwed out of a call that would have given them POSSESSION and definitely saved 3 USC points. It all evened out, plus Texas might have scored a TD on the next play.

Vince Young would have won that game no matter what.

You know what? Young won that game, not Texas. Vince Young, baby.

It saved USC 3 points, and Texas got 6, that's still +3 for the 'Horns.

It doesn't matter now, who's to say VY wouldn't have made up even for that. Congrats to Texas.

How'd USC end up in that making history story ESPN ran? I guess this makes the 2005 Longhorns the greatest team of all time.
