I wanted to make sure *I* wasn't way off. You're way of looking at returning starters is not how everyone else does. That's fine. But when debating such things, you might want to be "hip to the game." You do need to calm down, though.

I just find it hard to discuss football with you (and I tried to make this lighthearted). You don't know who still PLAYS in the NCAA.

EDIT: Wanted to add that your way isn't necessarily more logical than the widely accepted process. A returning starter is a player who is returning and who was also a starter. The stat is used to look at experience. Whether the player starts the next season does not negate his experience.
