For all Dooley haters, veteran coaches like Spurrier screw up, too. Florida just lost on a last minute FG miss vs. Miss. St. Even Saint Urban messes up. Ohio St. also lost. I guess the teams in junior conference (Boise St and TCU) will be the darlings of the politically correct media now. Although, I was glad to see these 3 prima donnas lose.

I was watching inside a bar. It looked like Cobb clearly fumbled on the play before the winning TD, but was ruled down early. I may be wrong, as I have not seen any talk of this play anywhere. On 3rd down, it looked like the whistle blew too soon, and Cobb lost the ball before hitting the ground. Did anybody else see this, or am I wrong?

He can blame himself for the loss. He had options with 11 seconds and a timeout remaining. When he called timeout, I figured he didn't have confidence in Garcia and was kicking. When the offense came back out without a timeout remaining, only the endzone needed to be defended. He must have told Garcia to take the snap and let it fly to avoid a sack.

I wondered about it myself at first, but after looking at it a second time, was pretty convinced that he was down. I'll have to go back and look at it again.
