As much as I would have disagreed with this 6 months ago, I pretty much agree now. The NCAA is gonna be on this staff like stink on shhh! Heard that part of their sanctions is minimal contact with recruits, wonder how long it will take them to break that rule?? And "F" USC and their Hollywood wanna be fans!

Derek Dooley is a diamond in the rough for this program, a snake in the grass for our enemies and a whipping boy for those who whine that we couldn't get a BIG NAME even over the hill coach. He knows the number of schollies that we can give and that is good enough for me. I hope he can grab a couple of big uglies from USC or any other source to fill some thin spots on our team. I am sure he is smart enough to count, work within the rules and stick it up LK's *** and smile at him as Kiffy's eye balls bulge out.

I read something at one time about how they skirt the rules. They are counting on some non-qualifiers. If they do all qualify then they would ask a few players to gray shirt a year. (Wait a year for their scholarship)

thanks for the info man, i love this board compared to all the other ones i've used. most of the guys on here are nice and know their football. it's good to be able to talk to people like me that actually use their football brain lol. there's a bit of a troll problem and a lot of "UT football is doomed" guys on here but i just over look them if i can. i'm a very optimistic guy and stick with the vols through the good and bad so it's nice to find guys like me.... thanks for all you guys who are nice and don't just get on here to doubt and make fun of the team and make fun of posters, players and coaches. thanks guys! keep up the good posts and great support, ya never know when future prospects are lookin on here!!!

USC fans are some of the most uneducated fans anywhere...Seriously...They talk smack yet they are lucky to get 50,000 fans per home game...Tennessee has ever bit as much history and TWICE the tradition USC will ever have....The campus is a dump and in the middle of a ghetto and they only wish they had the facilities We have....Only thing they can offer that UT can't is 4 years in the sunshine with palm trees everywhere.

Straight from the USC board (talking about Henderson):

"The drama is over. I'm not sure if anyone wanted him here anymore anyways. He'll probably end up in Miami, and the Hurricanes lost to North Carolina, Clemson, V Tech and Wisconsin last season. Think it there would be a blizzard in Los Angeles if SC ever lost to teams of that caliber."

Don't they lose to Oregon State, Stanford, Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon, and everyone else on shuffle every other year??

They are completely retarded. At least we are aware of our situation and would admit that we aren't the best team right now, but they act like they are a dynasty while losing to Arizona, Stanford, Oregon, and Washington last season.

Total numbers were well explained.

The unique spot we were in was how far under the 85 max cap we were. Kiffin ran off some players, and so did Dooley (although the rapping weird A.D. was not his fault at all) and so we had more space than any other major program.

Three months from now people will understand that UT was prepared to take literally 8-9 USC guys who would have been huge upgrades to depth at important positions for us. It was not just some secret battle with Kiffin. If Texas A&M was on probation tomorrow UT would look to get several of those guys. Bringing in transfers who can play immediately is an excellent way to shore up suspect depth.

Between every single junior and senior, were there 8 guys who we would want? Of course! Did I ever say that it was likely to happen? No. I said it would not happen but that we had that much room. It is a massive stroke of good fortune that UT was in the position to take advantage of this probation.

I'm tempted to sign-up over there and show them what the average Tennessee fan knows.

They are just completely ignorant to most of the football world.

I was thinking the same thing, but they will just tell you to quit trolling and say "we don't care about you guys.. You're irrelevant and quit thinking about USC... "

They have some serious insecurities.. Seems they love to put themselves on this pedestal made of BS.

Malik Jackson transfers to Tennessee - WeAreSC Forums

This board is a bit different but check out the comments about Malik Jackson coming to UT; such as...why not go to a winning school or a BCS bowl winning school or even a ranked school.

I was supprised and thought you guys might want to hear some of the smack the west coasters are dishing.

Have fun with this one!

Or how about go play in a real conference like the SEC instead of the Pac-12 who adds Colorado and Utah and expects THAT to change the image of the weak-:censored: Pac-10(12).

USC's toughest game every year is their bowl game. And they won't have one of those for the next two years, because they have to CHEAT to win in a terrible conference.

Don't fault Malik Jackson for wanting to play in a real conference... for an honest football program with great tradition. Tennessee has produced the NFLs current best QB and best DT (arguably, I guess). Not to mention Tennessee is one of the top 5 NFL-pipeline schools in FBS, especially defensive players.

Or the best DL of all time (Reggie White). USC fans are the dumbest and most classless group of people I've ever witnessed. We are bitter yet they have most of the threads on their site talking crap about a program that they screwed over LOL. What morons.

he would have to do work to be considered such. im a 'skins fan, and for all the positive things currently happening with the organization, everything he has (or hasnt done) is drawing attention away from it. a selfish, selfish individual. if he were so great, he would make himself work in the 3-4.
