Can someone please explain to me why Utah St is getting so much hype aside from Keeton?

Two WRs that are expected to play a lot have been arrested. Their WRs were thin as it is. Their OL is trash. Their DL isn't anything impressive. Couldn't tell you a LB to save my life. RB is coming back from an ACL, but even if he didn't have an injury how great could he be? DBs suck.

Seems like everyone is forgetting we play tougher competition on a weekly basis. They're the 8th best team on our schedule.

I think we thump them high 30s and they score high teens low 20s. 37-19.

This may be our year to end the UF streak and/or it's possible that we will get revenge on UGA in Athens. Left those blank because of being undecided.

I'm sticking with 6 wins with 7 or 8 as a possibility. If Butch gets 8 somehow, crown him the National coach of the year, not just the SEC coach of the year.

Keeton blindsided 1st Qtr and is out for rest of game.

Not even close.

USU has their excuse for the rest of the year and continues to play out the what if scenarios.

As a result, USU fans will hang here for the season like a bratty little brother.

I see it this way also (the wins and losses). I think we get a win against Florida and I don't understand why everyone thinks Ole Miss is so good, sorry I just cant agree.

I'm a die hard UGA fan but I love college football overall, particularly the SEC. So for discussion sake, what if UT loses to USU? What does that do for the rest of the season and fans perception of CBJ? I think the odds are in UT's favor, but what if?

Imo it would be a devastating blow to the trajectory the UT program is on right now. I know there are many that are buying into the hype around Utah State. I mean them no disrespect but if we are going to compete in the SEC, we need to handle teams like the Aggies. If we cannot, I begin to question some things.

For whatever reason we match up well with and play competitively with both SCar and Georgia. I think we'll win 1 of those 2, chose SCar just because. On the other hand, we do not matchup well with Florida. Outside of Bama and Oklahoma, Florida is the most certain loss on our schedule IMO.

Nothing will happen. The staff has no accountability for now because of the brick by brick rebuilding philosophy that we're all expected to buy into. There'd be a few disappointed posters but that's it. When are the Dawgs going to man up and schedule my Mercer Bears? We're playing Tech next year.

I don't think it will happen, but anything's possible. Vol fans should still support CBJ in either event. I think he's gonna be a very good SEC coach.

Got several friends who are Mercer alum. Great school. I was really rooting for the Bears last b'ball season.

Many experts are saying that teams don't want to play us late in the season. If the injury bug can be avoided and this freshman group is as football smart as they seem to be, then we may steal an extra W or two. USU should not give us as stiff a test as some think but 7-5 seems most likely with wins USU, Ark St., Fla., Chatt., MZ, Ky., and Vandy.

GO VOLS!!!!
