You asked for it so here it goes:

That's 7-5 & I think we have an upset or two in us as well. Maybe SC and/or Florida. Better chance probably with Florida at home but maybe a better match-up against SC even though it's away. Of course, we could also go the other direction & lose a couple above I predicted to win.

That would be another 5-7. Let's not talk about another 5-7 season though. We have to go forward & get better. I would be happy with a 7-5 season based on this tough schedule. I would be overly happy with anything better than that. Let's be realistic anything better than 7-5 & even 8-4 would be tremendous. We have a lot of talent but we are still pretty young.

I just hope & pray all stay healthy. Saulsberry going down already puts a damper on the interior line but we can move guys around too. We certainly have the talent to pull off some upsets. I just hope Florida is at least one of those. I'm tired of losing to them! GO VOLS!

I thought USU would be ranked better in the AP rather than mid-40's but that only strengthens my guess that we win somewhat handily

42 21 over usu and it's possible they don't score that much. This is the most talented team we have had since Phil was fired don't expect miracles but don't be surprised to see us upset a team or two. Also I don't really expect to see any games like the Oregon game last year not even against bama or ou.

Agree accept I'd suggest/predict that we beat Florida and either GA or SC or bummer so 8-4 is my predictions.

Not trying to be a peddler, but I have a G10 pass for the UTST game. Anyone interested in buying? I know what it's worth, but just make an offer. I can meet you on the way to the game or what not. I live in Cookeville and am leaving about 1 CT.

I've been saying this since the end of last season. I haven't waivered like most on here. The typical "sunshine pumpers" are the ones saying we (as fans) should be thrilled with 6-6 and accept 5-7. I get labled a "negavol" because I look at the schedule and say this team could/should win 7 games.

You've inadvertently tried to take them somewhere they're not comfortable going. If 7 wins is "reasonable" then falling short would force them to confront "why". They'd much rather think 5 wins meets expectations, six wins exceeds, and somewhere off in the distant future UT might compete again.

OR... in the case of guys like BeattieFeathers... the very notion of having the expectation to win is repulsive.

Tennessee is winning late in the 4th qtr 24-21 and USU scores in the final minute to win it.

Just my prediction.

Here is to a game with no season ending injuries for both teams and a well fought game. You guys have a great stadium, great conference, and great tradition(minus the last few years), but happy to be playing you guys. :hi:
