Maybe it's these orange shades but four seems right. Our facilities are second to none and although talent can be hard to come by, we've been pretty successful raiding Memphis, Georgia, and parts of Appalachia for talent. Fan interest has been shown to be far superior than that of most other SEC schools. With a little more success we should be able to move up that list...

We could make a case for being as high as 2. Florida has the national titles but their recruiting base isn't much better than ours in basketball, and their facilities are crap, The O-dome should be get the wrecking ball, Stokely is better right now than that place.

4th sounds about right to me IMO. I don't know about Mizzou being that high and Florida is only that high because of the recent success. Florida fans care enough about basketball to exceed the O-Dome so I've never understood that. I'd probably switch Arkansas and Mizzou around. Anderson better do something quick and I just don't see him winning enough to get players at Bud Walton.

I can see the argument for UT to be ahead of UF, the main point being facilities. However, it hasn't hindered there recruiting and they continue to be successfull. As already mentioned, you can't look past the fact that they have 2 national championships in the last decade. It does seem a bit odd that they aren't willing to improve their facilities, it seems that's the only thing holding them back from being a perennial basketball powerhouse and competing with Kentucky every year.

Our program is getting ready to explode with talent and greatness. Highly recruited players will line up to come to Tennessee. Coach Martin is on a mission and will not be denied.

Florida's recruiting base is much better than ours, because I don't think you can consider Memphis as part of our recruiting base. It is 6+ hours away, and we have had little to no success there over a long period. Florida is loaded with talented players. Tennessee has been loaded in the last two years, but historically, that has been the exception. Also, Florida recruits successfully on a national level because they have two recent National Championships to tote around. Tennessee needs some success and stability to begin recruiting at Florida's level nationally.

The only problem with the Florida job right now is you would be following Donavon. Pretty big shoes to fill.
