We are gonna have to agree to disagree on that. Wow.
We're probably decades apart in age. I would put Seivers, Flowers, Morgan, Gault, McGee, Harper, Pickens, Meachum, Stallworth, Price and Washington ahead of him as receivers. When you stack all the great players up by position groups, it's pretty easy to see how he might not be a top 100 player.

I can get on board with most of those with a strong exception to Kelly Washington. And also Donte Stallworth was injured a lot. Heck Meachem only had 1 good year really and I can see how Hyatt is comparable to him but Hyatt catapulted the whole program in one game so I give him the nod over those 3.

I can get on board with that assessment. I didn't list guys like Anthony Miller, Anthony Hancock, Joey Kent and Marcus Nash. Patterson only played one year here, but was phenomenal. Clyde Duncan and Lenny Taylor were great here too

Corey Fleming and Craig Faulkner are underrated for their contributions as well.

I was reading the (very excellent) best picture thread and it got me thinking, who would you put on a UT all-time team? I’m a youngun compared to some on here, so anything before the late 90s I won’t remember, although I do know some historic players by reputation. Here’s my list as it stands:

OFFENSE

Quarterbacks:
1. Peyton Manning
2. Hendon Hooker
3. Casey Clausen

Running Backs:
1. Travis Henry
2. Hank Lauricella
3. Jamal Lewis

Wide Receivers:
Group 1. Peerless Price, Robert Meachem, Donte Stallworth, Carl Pickens
Group 2. Joey Kent, Jajuan Jennings, Cordarelle Patterson, Cedric Tillman

Tight Ends:
1. Jason Witten
2. Mychal Rivera

Offensive Line:
Here’s where y’all will really have to help me out, as I can’t remember the guys from that nasty 2012 line anymore, let alone the greats of the Neyland and Majors eras. Some names that come to mind are Aaron Sears, Michael Muñoz, Phillip Fulmer, Trey Smith, and Darnell Wright.

DEFENSE

Tackles:
1. Big John Henderson and Albert Haynesworth
2. Billy Ratliff and Jesse Mahelona

Ends:
1. Reggie White and Doug Atkins
2. Derek Barnett and Leonard Little

Backers:
1. Hacksaw Reynolds, Al Wilson, Steve Kiner
2. A.J. Johnson, Raynoch Thompson, Kevin Burnett

Corners:
1. Terry Fair and Dale Carter
2. Cam Sutton and Dwayne Goodrich

Safeties:
1. Eric Berry and Bill Bates
2. Deon Grant and Tim Priest

Special Teams

Kickers:
1. Fuad Reveiz
2. James Wilhoit

Punters:
1. Dustin
2. Britton

KR:
1. Cafego
2. CP

PR:
1. Willie Gault
2. Alvin Kamara

Feel free to make suggestions, comments, and criticisms. A lot of you know UT football far better than me.
Nice list... Prob would of put Evan Berry at kick return

Hyatt had a top 10 (all positions) season in school history, but I don’t think he’s a top 10 WR.

And that’s not a knock on him at all….UT has just had a lot of great WRs.

Oof, see I told you I’d need some help.

Pickens was 3 times the multi-purpose player Woodson was before Woodson could tie his cleats. He also was pretty mean to me when I tried getting his autograph when I was 12, but I'm getting over it. It's been 32 years, so I'm close to being over it. Haha.
