i don't do jersey swaps unless i'm getting paid to do jersey swaps. those things are a pain the ass. and i'm a pen tool guy, i don't mess with lasso. all of that auto-select stuff is mostly crap.
Right on. I'll usually zoom in and use the polygon lasso. Of course I'm a level 1 elf and you are a level 50 wizard.
i shouldn't have said its all crap, it has its place. i just prefer vector masks because the lines are infinitely sharper, editable, and 100% up to you. so i'll pen tool everything out and then do alpha layer masks for hair if i need to. it takes longer, but i've just never been happy with quick select stuff, especially when its involves sports photography and theres generally some movement you have you take into account.
