'20 UT ILB Noah Sewell (Oregon commit)

We will see, looks fairly gloomy right now. I’d give the staff a D+ on recruiting. Hope we pick it up.

I don't know why folks expect us to be recruiting like an elite team. We are not an elite team, we haven't been for over 15 years, that's longer than this crop of high school seniors can remember. If we can finish Top 20 or even Top 15, which we are in striking range of, that'll be fine, it'll be a step in the right direction recruiting wise, as would finishing 7-5, the loss to Georgia State and BYU notwithstanding.

It was not to best move on his part not to come play for Pruitt and Ansley. But I don't blame him for not wanting to play for KirbyDumb's choke machine.

God help us if UGA ever gets an intelligent coach Cornbread, when we went 11-1 three years in a row, we called that the glory years, it's amazing to think they are on the verge of doing that with such a stupid head coach.

This guy was totally one of my wish list items but it won't upset me if he goes Oregon because it makes sense. It didn't upset me when Toll went Arkansas because logically that made sense. Now with that saying, Sewell ends up at Georgia...

Agreed. We can't really blame Gilbert, Jarrett, and Ojulari picking LSU. I mean, they may win the cfb Championship this year. With Hardy, well, Auburn's gonna Auburn and pay off a couple of our recruits. We still have a bunch of top-targets on our list. Don't forget, our coaching staff has demonstrated they're more than capable of developing players. Almost forgot about Smalls. Would've liked to have landed him, but he ultimately decided to stay home.

He's like a teenager behind the wheel of a lambo. All that talent, but no idea how to steer it. He's a mediocre coach. He could improve. But if not, in spite of all that talent, they'll drop back down soon imo. Especially if they don't have an answer at QB after Fromm.

To put this into terms....Derek Mason has never went for it on 4th and 10 on his side of the field

Easy to pull for a kid that handles the process like this. He knows that college football is a business, and you had better not burn bridges. I would not be shocked to see Florida State go after Cristobal, considering he is from Florida. Would make a lot of sense. If that happens, we could be back in the game here.
