Based on what we've seen with our OL this year, I consider this to be a huge loss for the class. I know we're reportedly doing "better" in recruiting offensive linemen, but I remain a skeptic. We increase our odds of success in numbers. I'm all for loading up on linemen on both sides of the ball. The SEC has been and always will be a line of scrimmage war. Know folks will clamor for filling needs in the portal, but what offensive guy has come from the portal and really taken to this system and been successful in year 1? Honest question. I'm really unable to think of one. And if WR's can't do it, what chance does an OL have? Next season looks absolutely frightening on the OL.

You can’t think of a single one?

A guy named Hendon Hooker did ok here. Bru McCoy. Gerald Mincey wasn’t a stud but he was fine as a starter. JaVonta Payton didn’t catch a ton of balls but was a big play threat his one year here. John Campbell Jr was pretty dang good last year when he was healthy after transferring from Miami. McCallan Castles was solid.

As many have said, based on what we are seeing right now with Oline struggles, we'll need to pump some major $$$ in the portal and grab at least 2 Oline... maybe 3...

I would have told him the job is wide open come in and earn it. Our two tackles have looked suspect at best. I would hope we didn’t tell him that those spots are filled because clearly their not. Plus elarbee hasn’t proven anything since he has been hired..surely he didn’t tell this kid that..
