UT Switching to Nike

Yep, the switch to Nike means nothing more than more money for UT. I'd think all the recruits like I Phones. Perhaps, we should get an I Phone sponsorship, too. Maybe, Waffle House, if that's what they like.

Nike has better basketball shoes, just as they do cleats. That's jmo, from wearing both over the past 3 decades. Adidas has always felt heavier in the heel to me.

They have better Basketball programs. They are basketball schools.

I could be wrong but isn't non Nike sponsored schools coaching staffs like Tennessee banned from attending Nike Camps & Combines that usually invite the best of the best HS talents in the country?

I don't know. I'm not sure we have a big enough program to attract Jordan. Those schools have notable alumni in the NBA that are sponsored by Jordan.

Jordan has special contracts with friends of his that are alumni from the schools. Some other schools just have the jerseys but don't get the shoes that come with it.
