Do you want to know why I'm surprised?

Because our team played with heart and passion the 1st half of the season. We looked very organized, disciplined, and GOOD for 8-9 games. We looked like a typical UT team.

But tonight, everything that created the 2005 season is REARING it's head. We look uninspired, unprepared, WEAK, WEAK, WEAK and we gave up in the 2nd quarter. And what is the first thing Fulmer does during the pre-halftime interview? He LAUGHED.

GOD i hate this. I hate going in to the 6th game feeing like we could cut heads this year. then play like last year. now i give in to the ut syndrome. of feeling like we might win something

I HATE IT coaches must go. I hate giving up but we are at bottom.

Maybe true...but Crompton still has a long way to go!...And yep our defense is horrible. Chavis has some soul searching to do!:rock:

We are still responsible for stopping them, there is time on the clock. If we can't stop them they should score again. This isn't about compassion.

Yeah we gave up at the end of the second quarter when we had a little over 2 minutes left to try and move the ball down field and we chose to run out the freaking clock.

I just hate defending coaches and telling Hog fans we are good, then see us play like crap.

Nutt better be careful. Coaches and players remember throwing a bomb up 24 with 3 minutes left. We DO play next year in Knoxville.

heart and passion only get you so far. we are a solid team but not good enough to hang with the upper eschelon teams in the SEC and so we're fading down the stretch. arkansas is just a flat out much better team than we are. considering how the team has played up until tonight, any comparisons to the 2005 team are uncalled for. tonight's performance doesn't negate our wins over cal, georgia, alabama, and our tough fights against lsu and florida. fulmer always says something stupid in interviews and probably laughed out of frustration. people do that all the time.

sure, i'd love to win or play them tough, but i'm not really shocked that we're getting blown out. let's move on, whip vandy and kentucky, and win our bowl game.
