'24 UTah WR/TE Roger Saleapaga (Oregon commit)

But isn’t this kid 220 pounds? Hard think he’s any more ready
Echols, Davis, and Okoye are all only 230 with IMG/Tennessee strength staffs so it's not like they clear him there. Roger can put on a ton of weight so that's not as much of as an issue IMO.

I guess I’m assuming Davis and Okoye have already put on some weight and could be in the 240-245 range by next fall, but that’s just an assumption and could be wrong

In a way we didn’t utilize the TE much this year. Not like we did with Fant. If we still had Golesh I’m sure we would have landed our top targets at TE. Bring in a portal guy and move on to the next Recruit. Hopefully Coach gets things clicking better next year. Not being a negavol, seen we used them more blocking . I’m sure that was used negatively in recruiting this year from opponents. I’m sure we will get it going. GBO

Quarterback. Last season you had one that looked in their direction. By the end of the season, Milton was using Castles as a weapon. We became enamored with Fant due to the utility knife component of his game in short yardage. As a TIGHT END...Castles was way better and will be drafted. I didn't see a drop-off. Also didn't see the glut of 5 stars signing up.

He's more ready that both of the names listed
You think Saleapaga is more ready than Ethan Davis? I don’t. I can see an argument that he’s more ready than Okoye, but we’ll see what Okoye looks like after a year and full offseason. He was brought in as raw as can be, but he’s also a very intelligent kid and freakish athlete. His learning curve may not be as steep for those reasons.

I just said MUCH lol I can see we used Castles late against less competition. Castles probably was better and hate he wasn’t in the game plan more. Not looking to argue. Truth is, we still didn’t utilize the TE as much. Also, still we believe we will get it going better next year. I believe Ethan Davis could be really good if not better.
