Yeah, pretty much only KY as the walkover. When you look at your schedule and the weakest link is the gators, you know its going to be a tough challenge

gators have to be better than last year. But not necessarily better than when we played them.
UtahST, OK, UK, and Ole Miss will probably be better than last year.
USCe, and bamer will be at least as good as last year. USCe and bama didn't lose a lot of players, but they lost great players. bama had dream recruiting season.
Ark ST, Mizzou, Vandy, will be worse. Mizzou lost a lot of key players, especially on D and DGB is trying to get kicked off team.
UGA & Chattanooga??? UGA will rely on Defense and Gurley. Defense was bad last year and they just lost best player from team.

Man, that's tough. Six wins doesn't get it done this year. I think CBJ has to get seven and a bowl win--basically just end with 8--or people will start to say he can't do it. I think he can and we have a ways to go, but that's tough schedule.

We will have our hands full no doubt. I am confident we will see significant improvement in team 118. Go Vols!!

Define significant improvement. Record improvement? Being more competitive against rivals & Oklahoma?

I think the new recruiting class will bring it!
Young but full of playmakers. We have been lacking that over the years. 7 wins and and finally beating Florida after 10 years. JMO

Early Guess: 6-6
Utah State W
Arky State W
Oklahoma L
Georgia L
Florida W
Chattanooga W
Ole Miss L
Alabama L
S Carolina L
Kentucky W
Mizzou L
Vandy W

However, I don't think going 7-5 with a win over Ole Miss is out of the question either.

Arkansas State 8-5 Go Daddy Bowl
Oklahoma 11-2 Sugar Bowl
Georgia 8-5 Gator Bowl
Florida 4-8
Chattanooga 8-4
Ole Miss 8-5 Music City Bowl

I honestly think Ole Miss will be very dangerous and hard to beat this year. They have so many good players on that team that were freshmen last year.

Yeah, Kentucky and Chattanooga are the only layup games. I'd rule Utah State and Arkansas State as probable wins. Vanderbilt is a toss-up again.

Most probable chances for upsets will probably be Florida (why do I do this to myself every year), Georgia, and Missouri. Ole Miss is a probable loss IMO, but I honestly have no clue what to expect from them. South Carolina is a probable loss as well, but anything can happen. Oklahoma and Alabama are definite losses.

This season will be all about QB play. Not just our QB, but the qb situations of all the teams:
Utah state qb coming back from acl
Uga will have a new qb
UF driskell coming back from injury
Ole Miss which Bo Wallace shows up
Bama new qb
USCe new qb

If we had played Utah State and Arkansas State's schedules last year, we would have at least equaled and probably had a better record. Still, a bit concerned with all new O and D lines. I think the foundation is there, but we are very young and may still be another year away. We will see.

IMHO bowl games and records are a very weak indicator of how good teams with uncommon opponents are. The best indicator is recruited talent over the four year span preceding and including the current year.
