The final weeks of the recruiting season is fast approaching and we are either making a splash or putting our names out for next season. It is no secret they are determined to be a recruiting force in the years to come.
For now, Lane and his crew are retaining old Fulmer commits and going after new ones deemed impossible to get (or talked to).

Kiffin is going after players that would have not committed under Fulmer.

So let's finish strong and hope they make an impact in their first year.

NEWEST ONES OR CONFIRMS WILL BE IN BOLD.

THE (RE)COMMITTED LIST SO FAR:

Hunter and Stokes are still Vols.

There were a couple of wavering comments under their perspective threads as far as taking more visits. Once this clears up, they will be added to the (re) commit list under Kiffin.

HEHE, NICE AVATAR.

Like he said, Hunter and Stokes are all Vol. They aren't going anywhere else.

i think we have a better chance at barkley than at murray to be hounest. lane kiffin is a big name in socal and is going to run pretty much the same O as USC. with the depth etc at USC and the OC leaving we might have a shot at turning him to the orange side.. lol i watched aaron murrays press conference and he seemes pretty much in love with georgia....

we need a QB coach!!! get us a good one and im not talking about a 3 star QB from TX we've seen how good they are (Nick Stephens)!!

I think if Kiffin stops the O line from flopping depending on the strong side, simple zone or man blocking, the QB position would be much better. Stephens went thru the progressions smoothly considering all that was going on. Coleman has the arm and poise also. Crompton, just bounced too many passes and screwed up hand off's for me to believe in him.

Prentiss Waggoner I hear is a good safety but we need to land a top 10 safety like Holloman, Gilmore, or Myles. DJ Hunter looks like a cb. I am suprised that no top recruits would like to play backup to EB14 and learn from him especially if Monte Kiffin comes. Am I the only one that thinks this is a goldmine waiting for the right safety?

I agree with BrierVol61 - Our O-line was strong but obviously wasn't coached well, and since we had the Wizard of Volz at quarterback it was ridculous. I think I watched the movie every saturday.

Jon Crompton - Cowardly Lion - was afraid to make plays
Nick Stephens -Tin Man - Had no heart, has the tools but no heart
BJ Coleman - Scarecrow - No brain, only reason he has no brain is because he had no experience with the 1st team. I think that he could probably beat out JC and NS.

Oh yeah Dorothy was played by Arian Foster - he definitely was not in Kansas anymore, matter fact he was not anywhere on the map.

It really doesn't matter who is qb if the O line don't block for them. I look for Coleman to be the qb starting next year.

Anybody that has word of the Jarvis Giles decision (expected: Tuesday) please report it here so the list can be updated.

THANKS

I will admit that I could be wrong about this, but I think the Aaron Murray talk is a bit unfounded at this point. I think he called, found out there was minimal interest, and that was the end of Aaron Murray.

People want to keep believing that we're gonna get a huge QB in this class, I think Kiffin has his sights on other things and will utilize what we have this year before hitting a home run next year.

I agree for the most part. There are little scraps left from the QB table this year. But I do believe that we will land a 2nd QB in this year's class. Just maybe not a huge name guy. Probably a raw talent that Kiffin sees some potential in.
