UTSA attendance, who's going?

This would be a good game to get up by 2-3 scores (hopefully) and then let Joe air it out some to gain some confidence and for the staff to gain some confidence in Joe as well.

I'll say about 85K. Combination of how we looked in the home opener and the debacle against UF will leave marks with this fan base. Confidence in the team and staff will be shaken for some. Gonna take more than a win vs UTSA to win back the faith and good will that's been lost. Might not be fair, but that's human nature.

I’m as disappointed as anyone in the Florida loss, but it’s a 4:00 game on a Saturday in late September and the weather forecast is beautiful. If we only manage 70k - 80k for this game after one loss this year following our best season in 15 years our fanbase is pathetic. No one should be giving up this early.

That being said, I expect it to be mostly full. Maybe 90k at the minimum.

The secondary market will never be sold out, it's the law of supply and demand. There will ALWAYS be tickets available for any event (Super Bowl, Nat. Championship), the question is how much are you willing to pay.

Sold out for the ppl counting on the money for athletic budget, so nobody cares and there are not going to be scalpers on the streets. Nobody trust this new digital age of transferring tickets between strangers. The copy & paste can get some ppl to bite and lose money or fake digital tickets.. A lot harder to dump tickets if you decide you are not feeling it with the team and opting out.

Our fan base is pathetic.
We only get so much football in a lifetime. I’ve seen some incredible things in that stadium. both good and bad. I’d rather those who turn their back on the kids, working their ass off for my university, stay gone when those kids turn it around. Those kids don’t need people who are just there to attach themselves to those victories

Agreed. I am not excusing the lack of effort in the Swamp. This team needs to be better. But, it would send a poor message to the team, and recruits, if all it took for our “best fanbase in the world” to quit is one bad game in a place we haven’t won in 20 years.

It’s up to the fanbase to do our part and ensure the snobbish talking heads like Pat Forde and Joel Klatt are wrong about our programs “duping” people and not being any good.

Our fan base has stood and will always stand with the team. We have some on here that just talk a lot of bull sometimes. It takes a awful fall of UT football to keep fans away. I have been a fan along time. I remember 0-5 start in 88 and folks kept coming. I have seen strong crowds over the years during lean times that other schools would have never gotten. This has to be one of the most loyal fan bases in the country, maybe the most loyal. Sure we have had apples like everyone but this is not a bad fan base overall, in fact it is just the opposite and has been proved time and time again We have some of the best fans in football and a great majority of them aren’t on Volnation. GBO
