Evans comes from a family line of DBs, with his brothers Levonata Taylor (FSU) and Keontae Jenkins (TCU) are both D-1 prospects.
Seen some folks mention him as a git candidate. If we end up with guys who are clearly better cool, but I think he’s got some potential. Solid offer list and I’m good with it if he ends up in the class. He’s not real active on twitter but we are trying to make inroads in the Hampton Roads area, and this kid comes from good blood lines. Brother was just drafted and I think another is at a P5 program.
Anyone know if we’re still actively recruiting him?

Couldn’t tell you tbh, he’s real quiet on all of his social media about UT. But if things continue on this trend I doubt he’s in this class. Good player, it’s just the recruiting is on a different level right now. He’s not real active on twitter but we are trying to make inroads in the Hampton Roads area, and this kid comes from good blood lines. Ignorant question here - does anyone think that if coaches want someone to "git", they just start showing them less attention hoping the kid breaks up with them? To clarify, I think the idea out there is that coaches have tough conversations with kids and say you should look elsewhere, but does anyone think that maybe they just intentionally hit them up less, are less enthusiastic when hitting them up, and so on. Kind of like if a middle school is afraid to dump his girlfriend, so he shows his girlfriend less attention hoping she will dump him.Ugly part of recruiting I’m glad he found another school that quick
I think that’s exactly what they do most of the time.Ignorant question here - does anyone think that if coaches want someone to "git", they just start showing them less attention hoping the kid breaks up with them? Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm genuinely curious.
