Wow, what unc is doing on the cruitin trail this year is mind boggling. Definitely benefiting from a heavily saturated pool of close to home talent, but still, keeping most of it in state as they are is impressive for a basketball school.

They’re paying just like most schools

Like I said before, it’s the 90’s all over again where they will always at best come In 2nd behind FSU (now Clemson).

I think many of you are too young to remember this, but Mack Brown did this at UNC in the 90's before he left to take the Texas job. He had UNC in the Top 10. He knows how to recruit there, and he already had established relationships in the state from his previous tenure there. This is not a real surprise. It also should put a serious dent in Clemson, which is a good thing since Florida State and Miami's programs both became a laughing stock.

Mack Brown is lighting it up. I don't mind seeing it. UNC will provide a check on Clemson... and bring them back down to earth a bit.

North Carolina being good won't be good for our Recruiting. North Carolina is a place we often get good talent out of.

Exactly I’m surprised no one has mentioned it befor now..If there’s any time we don’t need UNC really killing it,it’s rite now for sure. That state is loaded and lets be honest Ritzee and a few more could have been ours in previous years.I just hope they don’t waste this talent and throat punch Clemson every chance they get!

Then we have to be better.

People forget how good UNC was when Tennessee was dominating in the 90s. In 1997 they went 11-1 and finished #4 in the AP Poll. That same year was Peyton’s senior season where we won the SEC. think Mack was their coach then too. As good of a class they have, we could (and should) end up with one just as good, if not better.
