I think many of you are too young to remember this, but Mack Brown did this at UNC in the 90's before he left to take the Texas job. He had UNC in the Top 10. He knows how to recruit there, and he already had established relationships in the state from his previous tenure there. This is not a real surprise. It also should put a serious dent in Clemson, which is a good thing since Florida State and Miami's programs both became a laughing stock.Wow, what unc is doing on the cruitin trail this year is mind boggling. Definitely benefiting from a heavily saturated pool of close to home talent, but still, keeping most of it in state as they are is impressive for a basketball school.
