Just watched his Sophomore highlights. He has really great timing in pass defense. He must have had 10 pass break ups? He was playing FS the whole season.

Last year was his first season at LB. Just like Spillman.
These two are both going to have big senior seasons year 2 at LB

I think Cole is the perfect Will LB. He has length, speed, and superb coverage skills for the position. He should also be able to play in that 235lb range eventually.

He's probably bigger now than his reported size on the recruiting sites, and he's going to be a senior in high school. McDonald is entering his fourth year in college. Coverage skills at LB get you paid.

McDonald wanted to play DB, but he was being recruited to play LB when committed to Mississippi State.

He just hasn't added the size needed because of that.
