The more information that continues to come out the more it appears that these doctors were actually the ones who knew what they were talking about. At the current average of 400+ people dying per day in the US and with recent studies showing that the deaths are disproportionately tilted to conservatives because of their refusal to vax, you're just helping turn more states blue as you lose voters. I've been fortunate, I'm a covid virgin. Wife nor I have had it. (Knocking on any available wood). Son has had it. We all got the vaccine, couldn't risk it with my dad's poor health. Wore masks when appropriate last year. Haven't been vaxed except for the first round and 2 boosters.

I've got an acquaintance that is obsessed with covid. He's 100% convinced that I've had it but didn't know it. I've not had much of anything in the last 2-3 years.

Man ive been poked, and, stuck for them all. Was about to get the Omicron stick on Sun., after having been in NY & CT all week prior. And at very last second I thought, 'maybe chill and wait for a few days.'

It is here to stay, that is for sure. You can either deal with it as it comes or obsess about it and t let it control your entire life. If the shots help keep the severity down for certain people then they should feel free to get them. However, if people think getting the shots will keep them from getting covid they are sorely mistaken. On fact, vaccine is probably the wrong word to use for the shot. Maybe covid symptom reduction shot would be more appropriate.
