Vanderbilt's Jaylen Carey commits to Tennessee

Dude played better and put up better numbers in SEC play than he did in the non-conference, so that alone intrigues me. Throw in the fact that he killed us both times we played Vandy, and he's a much more physical post presence than anyone we had this year, and I like this addition to the front court.

I don't know ig that can be determined later. I do agree with you tho he's going to bring physicality to the whole team
I just think it depends on who else we finish with.

If we get Freeman, he can play the 4, not ideal, but let them battle it out and see.

If he starts, he starts and I have no complaints. He’s ranked #34 for a reason.

Better offensive game than Okpara and Phillips. More physicality than Estrella. He is Tobe Awaka with some post moves
Ok. You think he can improve his ppg from 8 to 10-12 ppg playing on a better team than Vandy? 8 Ppg isn’t too far removed from what our current guys put up from time to time.
