Vandy might not win a SEC game until Mason is fired. Hard to believe he won't get at least 2 seasons. So in other words Vandy is Vandy again.

Yeah, that just happened. They compared Mason to Bear Bryant.


If you ignore the difference in success, how about the fact that Texas A&M was struggling to get 4 wins and was finishing with 0-1 wins some of the time prior to Bear Bryant taking over. On the flipside, Vanderbilt was having their most success ever when Mason took over. Also, Bear Bryant wasn't a first time head coach when he took over A&M. Mason is a first time head coach. Acting as if a proven coach with years of experience turning a team around is irrelevant to a first time head coach being terrible when the school is at it's peak. By that their logic, Saban sucked his first year at Alabama only winning 6 games I believe it was and he also lost to UL Monroe. Alabama was far from their best when he took over and Saban, like Bear, was a proven coach. I guess some Vandy fans can't differentiate between the two.

I hope Vandy fans enjoy sinking with their anchor.

I expected them to take a step back with Mason but they are a complete Dumpster Fire now. Plus Mason is a horrible recruiter. Vandy is offically the Cellar Dweller of the SEC East again.

1510 WLAC am Nashville. My radio only picks up static so I downloaded the iheartradio free app and it works like a charm. They are about to "hear from the vandy locker room and name the player of the game" lol

Just think if Temple's punter didn't have a brain fart and just fell on the ball or the snap was clean, Temple would have won 37-2 or 37-0 lol.

I was really disappointed when that happened. I almost went to bed because I'm like well, F. Vanderbilt always sucks ass early on until lucky things start to swing their way. I thought that was going to happen tonight after the touchdown. First, Temple converts a 3rd down only to be penalized. Then they don't get the first down on the replay which forces them to punt. Then the snap is high. Then rather than fall on the fumble or kick it out of the end zone, he tries to pick it up. Then Vanderbilt recovers for a touchdown. I was like wow... what a terrible sequence. Glad I stuck around though, I love watching Vandy and their fans get crushed.
