Robertson would've been a take for 90% of the teams out there, the reason his offer list isn't big is because he shut-down his recruitment until right after Franklin left.

As if putting up with UT fans for the past century is any different.

The Vanderbilt hate here is pathetic. They are not a rival any more than we are to Florida. They are rarely relevant.

I am glad they have done well the past few years. It is good for the sec that they are not always a 1-9 type team. It just sucks that they are at their best while we are at such a low.

You must be brand-new to Tennessee football. Maybe google VFLs like George Cafego and Joe Thompson who had a good hate goin on for Vandy quite likely before you were born. :loco:

Guess he's not gonna tell us where he's a doctor. Funny how that works. Probably goes to Vol State and latches on to Vandy because it's a Nashville-area team.

C'mon guys, what's with all the vondy hate? They are an elite program now. The SEC needs to get used to it. Obviously , not many of you Vawls have been to the vandymania site. They'll tell you how good they are. Their recruiting class is coming along just swimmingly at the moment. Just ask em.

Ya know, if you grew up in middle Tennessee in the 70's and 80's as a Vol fan, then you'd know why the win/loss record means nothing. I don't care if other Vol fans think that dissing Vandy is "acknowledging them" or whatever. When I was growing up, the Vandy fans were pathetic jerks that crapped on you and your parents for being redneck trash, even though they would never in a million years be able to afford going to Candy (or later on in life be able to get their kids in college). It was elitism vs blue collar. It's always been that way. Middle Tennessee was especially tough around the early 80's because they got a win with Whit Taylor as QB. He was from Shelbyville. The hate was strong back then. Snooty bastards. Although Whit's a good guy, the fans were insufferable.
