Venezuelan Gang in Tennessee

The police have not resolved the problem it’s clear that additional man power and resources are needed

You can say this about every problem the police are trying to address. There are thousands of gangs. We are losing the war on drugs. We don't catch every rapist. We don't catch every act of vandalism. Etc.

Because regular law enforcement (which btw can still include ICE,etc, not just local street cops) are the people actually charged with handling such matters. IF we really find ourselves in a scenario where it's bad enough to justify more than that so be it.

None of those issues are as straightforward as dealing with an illegal alien gang.

One of those mentioned issues is gangs, which definitely include illegal alien gang members. This has existed. I live in PHX. We have had them here for decades. Still one of the safest big cities in America. Have the governor call up the NG in your state, I guess.

These local LE agencies in the affected areas need to channel Frank Rizzo when they're going after these gangs of illegal immigrants. Make it so they genuinely fear for their lives, and no longer want to be here.

Exactly you’ve had them for decades. It’s inexcusable that the problem has persisted anywhere in this country for that long

Interesting.

Mexican gangs have been operating in Morristown for years. (So excuse me if everyones shoot er up disposition falls on deaf ears)

Mexican gangs came to Tennessee and completely ran out the Bloods and Cripts that dominated Tennessee in the 1980s and 1990s

There can’t be an agreement with these Venezuela gangs…

I say send in the Seals.
the story a long time about the Chattanooga Swat was they were all/alot of ex-special forces guys. back before everything cops did was militarized, and that a lot of police forces came to Chattanooga to be trained by them.

no idea about the current state of Chattanooga Swat as this was 20 years ago, or more now.

Morristown's violent crime rate is 1/3 the national average

What crimes did you witness?

I know you would've shared your horror stories already if you'd actually seen anything.
In my current **** hole of a city that I work in I’ve seen more drugged out homeless dudes than I could shake a stick at. Wonder where some of those drugs are coming from? Are you skeptical of the problems that Latin gangs cause? Also had an illegal kill someone that I knew in a drunk driving accident. Not gang related obviously but yet another problem we’d not have had we secured our border. I want to test your ideological consistency. What is your opinion on Ukraine?

Tren de Aragua has already set up shop in these 16 States, Homeland Security warns

The vicious Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua has expanded its territory to at least 16 US states — an area that includes half of America’s population, The Post has learned.

The gang already has footholds in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin, according to the memo and previous reporting by The Post.

The gang has only increased its “violent tendencies” as it spreads, the memo added.

Tren de Aragua’s arrival in the nation’s capital and nearby Virginia coincided with “increases in migrant populations” there, the memo stated.
