if you watch all 6 games he does force a few. Hoping Barnes is a little more reluctant with the hook early on. Don't think I ever saw him take a mid range jumper. penetrates to the paint and kicks. Deadly if uncontested from the 3pt line. Makes most of his bunnies. He's not P Pete(highlights made him look so), but he could help.

Serious question - does it matter if he shoots 12 3's a game right now because the offense is unwatchable. But I get your point. He needs to be an improvement versus what we have. I get the feeling that will be easier than we think. Nothing against James but at his size he can start at the 2 or 3, and be a backup PG. I can also see Vescovi getting 10 minutes or less the first 3 weeks or so.

Yea I get what your saying about the 3's. I mean if he is hitting them then by all means. We need production to come from somewhere, however you don't want to fall in love with the long ball too much if you become that one dimensional at this level that is how we get 49 points in a total game scoring. He will be really a great addition if he can limit his turnovers up the assist and knock down the open jumper if given the opportunity. I too would like to see James start scoring closer to the basket, he has the size to do that.

Hmm, 19 steals and only 10 PFs. I have been more concerned about his D than anything as he appears to be able to handle O very well. This suggests (who knows about the comp he played) that he might be at least solid on D. Let's hope so.
