never was a fan while he was at Florida for obvious reasons, been rooting for him ever since he left. Gotta admire his principles......he'll never make it to the show but he'll have success at whatever he does. I just hope a scandal never erupts, that would be made for TV! :)

I saw an article in which several major leaguers talked about how amazing it was that he took so many years away from baseball and is able to compete the way he is at this level.

He has so many people pulling for him to fail, I can't help but root for him.

I went and checked out his twitter account and I only saw 2 tweets in last two weeks. I guess if his tweets bother you stop following him.

I like and believed in CDS and were one of the few who were pulling for him to get a 3-year extension under Currie. Its a tongue and cheek post. I try and keep things a "little light" around here, hence a smiley face emoji.

I have a sneaky suspicion you really aren't in the CTV fan club....:)

Nice. My feelings toward the Cubs is similar to my feelings toward Bama.

Unfortunately he will not be pitching out here this weekend, I am bummed.

Don't know how I missed it but Will Maddox has been promoted to AA Erie. In 4 games, he's batting .350 with 1 HR, 1 double, and 3 RBI in 20 at-bats. Good start.

Maddox, Stewie and Simcox each hit home runs this weekend for Erie. The announcers on the tv/video broadcast could not think of another time that 3 players that played together on the same college team started for a AA team. The announcer also thought it was odd that Maddox had higher batting average and power numbers in pro ball than at UT. Hard to get power numbers when you bunt and hit grounders to the 6 hole. Steckinrider looked great for the Marlins last night and I think Godley is starting tonight. I heard the new coach at UT wants the pro guys to come back during off season and be around the facility and with the team. I think that is a great plan. That has to help recruiting and motivating the current players.
