I just noticed his splits. The article I read said it was his debut. Maybe his first home game? Regardless, it's nice to see him have a good outing and get some run support for a win.:)

ETA...... It was his first game as a starter.

Senzel had a 3 hit night last night. Now batting .318 at AA level.

Erie moved AJ Simcox to the lead off position yesterday and he went 2-3 with a walk.

In stadium PA just played UGA fight song making fun of Godley as he came to the plate vs the Braves.

Keith Law has Senzel at #14 on his Top 50 Midsesson Prospects

Senzel looks like a sure thing, high-floor sort of player, an everyday guy at third who hits for average with a high OBP, but he hasn't hit for any power this year and his swing isn't really geared toward it. It's easy to see him in a big league lineup next year on Opening Day; I just don't know if there's All-Star ceiling here.

I went to Braves game yesterday. Godley did not have his best stuff, but proud of him. Braves are hot and have some solid bats in the middle of the lineup. Classic Godley was even after the rough start he stayed in the game, ate up innings and struckout 4 of the last 5 batters he faced. You have to love it as a manager. Bad defense all day by Diamondbacks did not help.
