once again you are assuming I am making arguments I am not. I bear him no ill will. I am glad he is doing well. Malone made it to the NFL in three years without putting up many stats until his junior year, I don't think him not starting his freshman year hurt him.

I am just pointing out how trollish your post was saying he went to Cal because they are a better school, without anything to back that up as his reason to go. Even with his dad being hired around doesn't mean he goes somewhere else because they are a better school.

some people just do better in different school systems.

from our side it looked like he left because he wasn't getting the playing time he wanted here.

I never said he changed schools cause Cal was better. I don't no why he transferred, I just no it wasn't because of playin time.... because he was starting thats all. I Also said nothing against Josh Malone either. I think if Wharton had stayed, all those Wr's would have been a great complement to one another provided that they didn't rotate 17 wr's and have some form.of a passing game strategy.
Also Butch was quoted several times saying that Wharton loved to compete.
And when your 14yrs old and Dad gets a new job you have to follow your parents. And your right about good academic standings, Cal will not even accept a transfer that doesn't have at least a 3.0 at their transferring institution. I believe that's what happened with Hurd not attending Cal.
Watching the way Marquez Galloway played Monday night one would think he could possibly be a we bit frustrated with only 3 receptions. Of course thats just speculation.
And for the record I'm not trolling; I just don't own a pair of orange glasses.
