No, but if you'll recall Obama had the opportunity to appoint a judge to the supreme court and was told by the republican members of the senate that we don't do that during an election year. And now here we are, four years later, and we are doing that because a conservative is president. I'm not saying Biden should pack the court but we probably wouldn't even be talking about this if republicans hadn't done that in 2016. Thus, the endless cycle of retribution continues and we become more and more divided.

Sure thing. No go back in our country’s history and see how many times it’s happened when you had an aligned WH and Senate.

Again elections have consequences and the packing the court narrative is sour grapes for not being able to win elections.

Garland should have gotten a hearing and vote. But as Obama said "elections have consequences" and Harry Reid made sure nobody would forget.

Ok but I can flip that argument and repeat what the dems were saying in 2016 when they were all arguing that the nominee should get a vote.

Yeah, you can. Of course, democrats expecting republicans to act consistently isn't the same as hypocrisy.

Again keep in mind had barry had the Senate he would have put up someone way more radical than Garland and that person would have been approved. McConnell told Reid and the dems it would come back to haunt them when they started screwing with the rules.

And they shouldn't have screwed with the rules. But again, where does this stop? Republicans can stop it right now and wait until after the election (if they win) to nominate ACB. What do you suppose the chances of that are?

Harris wanted to talk about how bad the economy is and about the unemployment rate, well the economy is struggling some and unemployment is high but that's because dem mayors and governors are forcing so many businesses to stay closed.
