Vick's Plea Bargain

I loved Chuck Smith's assessment just a few minutes ago on CNN. Of course I'm sure his red phone directly into the Falcons camp has just been cut off as well. He gave a little more inside info than Blank probably feels comfortable about everyone knowing.

Added to the fact Vick found Jesus, I'm sure the pundits will have a field day on comments all day long. Joy to the Falcons who have to play tonight. Between sideline reporters and howling fans, these guys will severely be distracted.

anybody buying Vick's "I found Jesus" comments? Paris Hilton also "found Jesus" before she was carted off to jail, but it doesn't seem to have stuck.

Finding Jesus always seems a ploy by the guilty to generate sympathy and little more. If Vick had never been caught, do you think he would have had an epiphany and renounced the dog fighting and voluntarily turned himself in?

While I never like questioning someone's finding Jesus (never knew He was lost) I ask myself why he said he was praying about all of this, etc. weeks ago and then comes out to say he just found Jesus. He acted like he 'had Jesus' weeks ago and now says he found Jesus even more recently.

Only time will tell. I'm sure the church he's attending will love to get some of that remaining money he has for tithes. Of course he might be asking for alms before all is said and done.

Glad he "found Jesus"....we'll see if he remains in contact with him or if they get separated, I guess.

He's got plenty of downtime to think about it though. I loved his third person Bob Dole speech though.

It was better than reading from something, I will give him that.

But he was off with the "immature" comment. His actions have nothing to do with immaturity. But he was free wheeling, so I am not going to go too hard on that.

He wasn't reading off cue cards but someone was in his ear giving him main points to go over.

The whole discussion of this thing has now turned into a racial issue, at least on the news networks (CNN, Fox News). It's getting ridiclious, there was a guy on Hannity and Colmes (sp) that was being over top about the whole thing.

Hannity and Colmes over the top? That is the craziest thing I've ever heard.

It wasn't them, it was one of their guest. A guy named James Maeuta. Something to that nature. He was flying off the handle, one of those "let me finnish" guys.

The whole time Lynn Swann kept quite and when he was asked a question he answered and def. came out the winner in the debate. IMO

Vick has already been sentenced and here he is enjoying a special moment with his cellmate.
