Victory Over Bama Or Auburn + Mizzou?

A genie appears before you and tells you he is endowed with the power to allow the Vols to win a few big games this year. He then tells you he will grant you a wish, but you'll have to select between two options.

Your choices:

(1) The Vols beat Alabama, but lose to Missouri and Auburn, - OR -
(2) The Vols beat Missouri and Auburn, but lose in a blow-out to Alabama

Which would you choose?

Option 1 please. Would be unbelievable for recruiting and national exposure! Hard to even imagine!

I say we take one of the next three and clean up with Vandy and Kentucky. That is a 7 win season for the first time in 5 seasons.

But if I had to choose 1 or 2 I'm taking 1 because I ****ing hate Alabama

Edit: I guess that puts us winning one of the next three like I said lol

As much as one victory over Bama would be awesome ... the prudent choice is the two wins, leading a better bowl, more happy fans and even more recruits with the better exposure.

Vols can beat UK and Bama and lose to them and Vandy to only go 6-6 and I'm estatic.

There's nothing better than beating Bama.

And then Lady Luck comes along and stomps your genie. She hands us our luck (that's been bottled up by the genie for the last three years in order to make himself feel needed) and we take all three games.

GO VOLS!!

If we can beat Bama, it is a must take! Bama plus Vandy and/or Kentucky sends us bowling, which is our main goal at this point, with the exception of continuing to get better.

I totally agree on beating Bama.

If we were competing for a major bowl game or SEC title, I might be more "logical" and go for the two wins instead, but what's the difference between one mid-tier bowl game and another? Also, beating Bama would probably be better for recruiting, because it would send a huge message to recruits!

Perhaps I should have made the choice tougher and included Vandy. I think if the choice were beating Auburn, Mizzou, and Vandy, with a loss to Bama, or reversing it with a victory over Bama and a loss to the others, I'd choose the 3 wins.

I'm with Volly, if we beat bama ain't no way we lose to Auburn or Mizzou.

Beat Bama, end their streak of wins against us, and probably ruin their national title hopes. This one was easy.

Beating Mizzou and Auburn would be better for this season (bowl game).

Beating Bama would be better in the long-run (recruiting).

Beat Bama, look what it did for aTm's exposure... it (and Johnny "i run like captain jack sparrow" Manziel) elevated them into the stratosphere of college football. Unfortunately, Bama got their *bleep* together and laid waste to the rest of their opponents.

That's not even a choice! You always take the victory over Alabama! I unfortunately have to live in the state with the idiots!

People that chose anything other than kicking Bama's ass just don't get it. Beating Bama is a lot more important than getting eligible and/or winning some BS bowl game.
