Yes it was. On 140.5, I believe that Adams pretty much took VY's side. This guy needs to grow up. Throwing jersey and pads into the stands is not acceptable. He knows that Adams is going to back him up no matter what he does.

I can't see Fisher and Young both in Nashville next year.

If I'm Adams, I cut ties with Young and see if Kurt Warner's got any interest in giving it one more shot.

I know we haven't won a playoff game in a long time but Vince seems to be hurting the Titans way more than Fisher is. If I was going to even consider canning Fisher I would give him until the end of his contract but tell him he needs to make some staff changes.

Bud Adams was quoted today saying "oh god yeah vince will start in 2011" he also mentioned something along the lines of we are going to pay him a lot of money. I don't know why anyone puts up with vince; but Bud just enabled the hell out of him.

VY is more frustrated that he's been hurt lately than actually at Fisher, imo ... but since he's clearly still immature, he vented in an unforgivable way. Before he got hurt @ jacksonville he was playing great, leading the league in passer rating and the offense lead the league in scoring. The last 3 games have been lost b/c of poor QB play, a product of the injury tango we've had.

What Adams did today was give a spoiled player the right to continue to act that way. VY disrepected Fisher in a way that is intolerable. If VY comes back next year after IR, he should be suspended for a few games, or punished in some other way. But would it make a difference?

Totally stupid move by Adams taking Young's side publicly like that. He pretty much made it known that Young can do whatever he wants and he's going to stick with him.

Yep. Fisher said today that he would LIKE to end his coaching career as a Titan. If Bud keeps taking the big baby's side I don't see it happening though.

Young for obvious reasons. I have always liked Fisher and think he is a good man but I don't think he will ever get us back to the Super Bowl. I think his average record would have already had him fired in most cities. The Titans need new blood that is all.

Also, I didn't like the whole jersey thing last year when he wore PM's jersey and said he just wanted to feel like a winner. I know alot of people thought it was funny or he was trying to motivate the team and that's their opinion and that's fine but I thought it was dumb thing to do.

I'm with you on Young but I don't see getting rid of Fisher making sense. If he can ever get a defense to play as well as the one did in 08, there is some talent on offense and the Titans can be contenders again. The defense is horrible. I think you give Fisher ti lhis contract runs out, let him get rid of Cecil and then go from there. If not then maybe you look at getting rid of him. JMO

I hear ya, I wouldn't have a problem with letting him finish his contract. I would love to see him prove me wrong but I don't see it. Look at how he seems to have aged the last few years. In today's press conference he looked like a tired old man. Just think a change would be good for the Titans and Fisher.
