So you would want the Bama win to virtually count for nothing?
Would you want the same for the Georgia win? The Florida win? The South Carolina win?
You would want us to win by beating a bunch of cupcakes?
Hawaii wants you to know that won't get you to a national championship.

With strength of schedule being factored into the playoff equation, a lot of you are going to have to change your mind on this - or root against our opponents ignorantly.
I understand this philosophy, but you must understand why many disagree with you.
I, for one, root for a lot of SEC teams in non-conference play. There are exceptions, I will never root for Bama, Florida, or Georgia.
I think you'll find many within the state of Tennessee, and maybe even the southeast in general share your sentiments. However, us displaced fans seem to carry more of a conference pride.
I ultimately think this is because we constantly have to hear how overrated and crappy SEC teams are. Believe it or not, there is not a whole lot of love for the SEC in other BCS team strongholds. I've spent the last few years in Big12 and Pac12 land. Big12 hate for the SEC is other-worldly, and the Pac12 homers aren't too far behind. So it's nice to show up for work the next day after a big non-conference game and hear people come up with new excuses.
What difference does it make if the SEC is the top dog? The better the SEC is the harder the rebuilding job is. If the SEC falls off to the level of the Big10, Big 12 or Pac 12 the top teams will still be considered among the elite.Whats the point in not pulling? Do you think the SEC would be as good as it is today if the other teams were bad? No.
. Loved it when ULM beat Saban!!Some of you guys can't be serious, that if you see that a mid major team is hanging with Florida or Georgia, or back before Saban got there Alabama, in the 4th quarter, that you DON'T start hoping the mid major wins?
The year after Auburn won the NC, you're telling me you weren't just a tad giddy when it looked like Utah St. was going to knock them off in their opener?
