What if we get their picture up on the jumbotron during a tv timeout and have the PA announcer say "hey everyone, look at the screen. these are some of the top high school recruits in the country. let's all yell and scream and show them how much we want them to come play at tennessee!!!!"

and it'd be even better if they played some of luc's highlights while that was being announced. then everyone would be screaming for him to come play for us.

what do you think of my idea? is that a violation?

They would just cut away to ESPN studios and spend the rest of the game talking about the VIOLATION we just committed.

I remember seein Jeron Stokes last year in the Vol Walk, they have to wear a visitor badge. Jeron turned out well, lol.

So, basically, we need for Tennessee's defense to be in the backfield all day, so Luc and Lemonier can see theirselves in that, and then, we need for the secondary to get several picks, Eric Berry to set the record, and oh yeah, we'll make Michael Dyer realize that if he faces our defense next year as a Tiger, he'll be spending A LOT of time on the ground.

I hope we demolish them. We need some of these guys.

They have to walk behind the team I'm pretty sure.

I am almost certain that allowing them to participate in the Vol Walk - in any order, for any reason - would be a violation of the NCAA bylaw prohibiting the simulation of a gameday experience as a player.

If we self-reported a smoke machine, chances are that this would be of far greater concern to our compliance office.

all of the recruits were standing up on 2nd level balcony by the entrance, watching the Vol walk at the UCLA game.

Yes. They stopped that this year or last year I believe. The recruits go to the stadium and wait in Lane's office to speak with him before the game, IIRC.

I'm assuming they stopped it this year then, because I was at several UT games last year and the recruits trailed the players in the Vol Walk.

TWill has been in love with Miami for over year. He has been waiting on an offer all year, which he finally got this week. We really need to have a good game this weekend, in order to have chance with this guy. He is a beast !

Not saying I don't believe you on those who you said who were coming this weekend, but where exactly are you getting your information on the recruits coming this week? Only reason I ask is because I heard on sunday radio show and last night on the tv show "Locker Room" that both individuals speaking said that "if" we could get Jeff Luc in on a visit it would be huge for us. Both individuals went on to say he has yet to decide if he wanted to come to Tennessee on a visit. If you have a link or something that says he's coming out this weekend I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Go Vols

I don't care if you believe me or not, I am just doing research before I post. All this info came from the recruiting calendar on a sports website.....what was it called again????? Oh yeah, volnation!

I hope they had a good time but I don't know if it matters after watching the game. I would say the defense only started to look vulnerable because they were on the field so long but... it appeared that Auburn could have been successful running screen plays all night. The Tampa 2 appears to be vulnerable to the screen. 3rd and 5-10yds... run a screen. Worked everytime for Auburn. I'm sure Luc noticed it.

Luc and Riley were on espn when they showed the fans

Well it's good he was with Riley but isn't Riley high on Washington? Washington has looked awesome lately despite two losses. Sark seems to be the real deal. I hope we don't lose out on Riley. Honestly, I am no longer holding my breath on Luc though. I think he could still come but he would have enjoyed a lot outside of the game. It was hard to enjoy the game. Even the atmosphere wasn't that great after Crompton started out 2-11 and were down 13-0.
