it's hard to say what kind of effect games have on recruits. I mean, look at UCLA. Landed 3 highly rated players after a loss, even though most thought we should have won that game.
I mean, there's several ways to look at it. If we win "Awesome, they've got it going on", or "Oh, they don't need me." If we lose "I could play here immediately" or "They're improving, even though the scoreboard doesn't show it (which I think we are in some areas BTW)", or "I don't want to play for a team that has no up direction anytime soon."
I think recruits see our direction, and they know our passion, and they see the environment. Those are very important things. And honestly, we are not a bad football team! We were a decent quarterback away from being 5-0 tonight. A decent quarterback could have more than prevented our losses so far. Tonights loss, I also believe fell on some of the receivers too. Crompton wasn't half as bad as his receivers made him look.
But I am still Hopeful about our situation. I think some good will come out of tonight. It just won't be this season.
