Visitors for the Weekend of Jan. 15th

Just a guess. The first 3 guys I think are almost locks. And I really like where we stand with the 4th and 5th guys at this moment...

Chaz Green
John Cullen
Blake Sims
Nickell Robey
Damien Robinson

I think we turn Robey. But if UGA hires Smart that could hurt. It's really untelling what's gonna happen when we get guys like DaRick, Nelson, Dorsey, Coleman, Stone, Wilson, Arie, etc on campus...

There are so many variables too. Like Rajaan Bennett. What do they do with him? I mean, he seems pretty important if Kiffin went personally to his school to see him a month before NSD. Do we even take Robinson? Do we really push someone else out of this class? January is when Kiffin really made his move last year, and if this week is any indication of what's to come, this January is going to go the same way and it's pointless to try to predict it haha. For example, if you would asked me last week at this time if we get Sims, Willis, and Dixon, I woulda said no on the first 2 and believed we had a shot with Dixon if he would come back for a visit. A week later, 2 of them are Vols and the other one is probably a Vol behind closed doors, not to mention securing a visit (and legit interest) with Dawgs prize recruit...

I could see us pushing Pair out. He would be the most likely. I think they like him quite a bit, but when you have (possibly) Chaz, JaWuan, and Cullen coming in as OTs and have Douglas and Thomas as sophs and Schofield as a freshman, I'm not sure you use a scholly on a project like Pair if you don't think he can play soon especially when that scholly can go to an extra DB (Loften), LB (Swilling), or a RB (Bennett). And make no mistake, Pair is a OT; he can't play guard...

Most O-lineman are one-two year projects before they are ready to play. I don't think Pair is any different. Chaz could use a RS year, so could JJ. Cullen is the only really "ready" OT we are bringing in. (potentially)

Pair, M Dixon, Williams, Copeland (only if we get Quarles)

Those are probably the names. Fulton is a possibility too.

All this is hypothetical obviously.

Fulton is already in school I thought?
Other than that I agree with the names you listed.

If/When the Meyer scandal breaks UF cannot lose all their guys, just some:
Of the 24 high school prospects who have committed to the Gators, 11 are enrolled in classes and will participate in spring practice.

The latest early enrollees include three of the five UF commitments who played in Saturday's Army All-American Game in San Antonio — cornerback Jaylen Watkins and West Palm Beach Dwyer teammates Matt Elam (safety) and Gerald Christian (tight end). Elam is one of the three five-star prospects who announced for Florida during Saturday's game. The others were defensive tackle Shariff Floyd and defensive end Ronald Powell.

UF's other early enrollees are defensive end Neiron Ball, quarterback Trey Burton, wide receiver Robert Clark (another Dwyer teammate of Elam and Christian), defensive back Jordan Haden, defensive lineman Leon Orr, wide receiver Solomon Patton, defensive back Joshua Shaw and offensive lineman Ian Silberman.

Fulton was never scheduled to be an EE to my knowledge. He is not here. I know that.

As long as Prater is in play, Fulton is fine.
Agreed. I'm just not sure how much he is in play. I think this week will be a busy one for Prater and we will have a better idea of what he is going to do at week's end.

If there is truth to this, I would be surprised that it would not come out. Money talks though. Even Tiger tried to pay to play. Time will tell.

Sorry, joining thread late. Read back several posts and can't find anything on CUM scandal. Can you guys tell me what that (allegedly) is? Is it the affair? Not with Tebow, but maybe with some staffer? Inquiring minds want to know.

Yeah it is a 23 year old UF grad student. Sister of a cheerleader. Just rumor at this point, tons of smoke, no TMZ pictures yet.

Yeah, just kinda told him I was looking forward to seeing him in orange and he carried on a conversation with me. He seemed really genuine with it, even gave me his cell # and told me to hit him up at the game. Thats why I am curious at why he is no longer visiting.

I agree on what you said about Chaz, and JJ, but at Tenn. I would bet my life one of them will start next year, and both will see tremendous amounts of playing time, IMO. Ive heard from somewhere (Probably on here)that Cullen isn't that much of a lock to come here now because on when his time frame is for enrolling, however I hope that isn't true.

I think this weekend Williams is guided to look at other schools.

Possibly, but I'm not convinced. I don't think he would be encouraged to look around unless we are sure on getting another LB. With Taylor now looking around, Williams is our only solid LB commit. However, if Nelson or C. Jones started to show real interest, I could see that unfolding.

man I like M Dixon and Copeland, I really think it would suck to lose them. Especially Copeland he's been committed forever and I like his skills and size.

Well, if you see James, Green, and Pair all redshirting as OTs, I'm not sure the scholly wouldn't be better used on another position. I just think we are gonna have very good young depth at OT when James and possibly Green and Cullen get here. I don't see Pair getting to play over these until way on down the road...

Hopefully we don't lose any more of the expected visitors for this weekend. That list is monstrous

We may be trying to split them up so we can give each player more attention. There was like 11 supposed to come this week and then only 2 or 3 the other 2 weeks. Just looks like we are trying to spread them out imo.

i posted on my facebook status "its great to be a tennessee vol" after the kansas game, delvin jones responded "damn show is".
