I have been around and no one mocks us anymore than anyone else.

People talk trash about other teams fans all the time but we dont receive any more trash talk than any other teams.

Your ideas of integrity are very unrealistic with the average human being.

I never have liked Vitale and I get so mad when he keeps calling the Vols the Vowls. His partners, sitting beside him say Vols and he continues to say the Vowls. He's pitiful.

The only person to blame for the negative pub UT is getting is Bruce Pearl. Do the right thing or, at least don't lie about it, and we're not in the spot of being embarrassed every time UT basketball is mentioned on a national stage.

Dawg, they were hating BP before this. They think he takes the shine away from the players by promoting himself so much and some coaches despise that! BP said it from the begininning that he had to sell himself to get the attention of top players and until he wins championships that's what he has to continue to sell! I like Bob Knight, but the same people will defend everything Bob Knight and there's no way he could have been a bigger distraction to his kids!

Dude, why are you so antagonistic with everyone?

My guess is that those fans are mocking you rather than UT and you just don't know the difference. All fans poke at other fans...just like you can't help poke at Tyler Smith or BP or every other poster on here.

I was actually listening to the radio that day it happened. Very odd... The Sports Animal guys wre having side conversations before Vitale actually did the interview, and then they teased him by asking questions about what he thought about Noah. Heeheehee... he had no idea his phone had picked up.

Then he called back about an hour or so after the interview to say that what he had said was taken out of context.

This thread is EXACTLY why I am VERY picky about what I read....For some unexplainable reason I read the entire thing....Either you guys are in jr. high or locked up in an institution somewhere.....Man this stuff is silly!

Off subject a little but the ESPN crew picked Vandy to win over the Lady VOLS on air, particularly emphatic was the black guy (sorry don't know his name) and Digger Phelps. Maybe we should apply to be a highly paid ESPN Expert Anal-ist? Obviously, no experience is necessary.:eek:lol::dance2::rock::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol:
