Well, hopefully if called to defend this position on national tv, you would be able to come up with something better than Vitale did.

I don't claim to be an expert on NCAA rules, but it doesn't seem to me to be a bad thing to reward a student athlete for focusing on the student part.

It's just an easy target for a talking head who doesn't have anything better to discuss.

He reported a coach for recruiting violations decades ago, he's worked hard to rebuild his career, rebuilt a program and established him as a good coach but Vitale won't let him move on and get past it.

dick vital is the most biased basketball analyzt,coach k and duke,kyand cal,kansas andmochivan state and most big east teams,none of the big four duke,kansas,ky and carolina could get cought paying the playerz and would get no more
than slap on risk, and dikey luvs ky.duke.carolina he probally would pay to pay players for them and to lie to ncaa for them ,it is a known fact that uk and those teams with top recruits have away to pay players just look ky had stacy poole thencoach cal came to uk and bought the best money could buy then he bought another bunch who arnt as big and not as fast but they shoot better,andhe has his best class coming.ut will only catch up with the top teams if and when they land 5 of top 12 players a 5star pg,and 5"star sg and other 5star.players
