I’ll bet $1000 VNPF bucks my clearance is as high as yours and nobody has batted an eye at me being on FB during reinvestigations and program specific clearances.

They don’t care if you’re on social media it’s ingrained in our culture now. They care what you do and what you say on social media just like any other platform.

You realize you’re on social media right now … right? And do you know you actually have more control on FB as to what content of yours can be viewed by what audiences than you do here?

On the edit. Neither. I’m challenging your statement that the government actively prevents you from participating in social media. From my own personal experience and literally hundreds of other people who also have clearances at my level which I know first hand I know that is categorically false.

I’ve been asked if I participate in social media and if so what platforms. It has never gone farther than that and I have never even been asked for my social media identities. Of course I fully expect finding that info to be trivial for any competent investigator and they would have found it without even asking me for it.

Informational access must be the difference twixed us…perhaps. Mine went thru 1 straight to the pentagonagnel folk. I’ve been out of that game awhile. Retired at 53. Life is good. How bout you?

I retired and got back in part time as it’s the easiest money I’ve ever made. I can believe some self important a**hole tried to bluff on you that you aren’t allowed to use social media but it is my firm belief they are powerless to enforce that unless you post some really dumb stuff that you have no business posting. Again we are on social media right now.

My career is covered in NDAs. I couldn’t even say under oath to a court. You obviously have never had that access. It’s good you’re different. Be proud not indifferent brother. We both serve(d) our cause I reckon.

You never answered life #log as FB. I’d be interested in your thoughts.
