I’ve had exactly that kind of access including the under oath reference you made. And I had a FB account when I had that access and they knew it. And as a retiree I made it clear I never want that level of access again.

As far as “life log” I didn’t realize I was delinquent on a CDRL. I can only assume you are referring to the timeline feature on every FB account

@hjeagle1vol you said you’ve been away from this community for quite awhile. You might remember that you were required to perform yearly training to keep your clearance. At this time education on social media usage and visibility is included in even baseline security clearance yearly training. Higher access levels have even more awareness training and if you participate in industry / professional SM sharing platforms that comes with even more training.

They know it isn’t going anywhere and thus they have chosen to educate people instead of ignoring or bullying.

It’s really very simple. I don’t talk about work on FB unless its a coworker shared b**** session speaking in generalities.

We still have to practice adequate OPSEC in whatever we share on whatever medium. And that requirement existed prior to the multiple social media platforms readily available to everyone now.

And since this is the meme thread thus is my last discussion post on the topic.

Lol @hjeagle1vol i finally got your life log reference. You weren’t talking about a FB feature you were referring to an old DARPA program specifically called LIFELOG which had been long cancelled. So that is correct all social media is indeed DARPA LIFELOG and has made its usefulness obsolete. Regardless it isn’t going anywhere and is regularly used by us “low access” chaff 😂
