Vol Fans Who Went to Oregon

And you sound like an idiot.

Football revenue fuels non-revenue producing sports in an athletic department. Why should UF incur unnecessary travel expenses to play UCLA, Cal or Oregon when we already play a nationally ranked OOC opponent less than a four hour drive from Gainesville...every year.

The return on investment isn't worth it. Tennessee couldn't afford to send a pep band to Oregon in spite of all the TV revenue our conference rakes in.

It's a necessary evil for Tennessee to travel outside of the southeast, as there's not enough FBS talent in-state to sustain a competitive program.

True. Plus Florida doesn't even travel out of the state in OOC action. And it's really a no brainier. Lose to FSU or Miami or play Florida Atlantic, Florida International or Southeast Central Florida State Independent University....

Please...as if Tennessee is viewed as an "ultra-elite" program because they travel to play PAC-12 schools. UT has to market its program outside the Southeast, Florida doesn't.

It's smart business on the part of both programs in my opinion.

You made my point about the financial impact. UT didn't bring a pep band to Eugene for the same reason you won't see UF travel to out west...the return isn't worth the expense.
You seriously comparing taking a 30-45 piece band to play Rocky Top every once in a while, to actually playing the game?

Your use of hyperbole is noted.
